Last night the only person to misgender me was my close friend. Everyone else who I’d only met a few times (or never before) correctly gendered me (without asking first) and those who knew I am trans respected that and used male pronouns. In fact, one guy even tried to correct my friend whenever she used female pronouns. That was like… really, really nice. I dunno, yesterday I was just one of the guys. And it felt right, no one questioned it and I’d say only 1/4 of the people knew there that I’m trans anyway. It felt completely natural, especially compared to today when I was with my usual group of friends who were “she”ing all over the place.
Although my mum, brother and sister get back tomorrow. So I suppose I’ll have to get used to female pronouns and birthname again .__. It was such a heavenly 3 weeks with my dad. It feels like he’s slowly getting more used to treating me like a son. And I bet you when my brother gets back that will all change. Because my parents don’t want to upset him.
OH YEAH AND I GET MY GCSE RESULTS TOMORROW MORNING. LE SHITTING MY PANTS.
